ItsWhisky is operated by Kaiah Digital Solutions (“KDS”), based at Church Street Gardens, Speightstown, St. Peter, Barbados. We are the data controller for personal information collected through the platform. You can reach us at info@kaiahdigital.net.

We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, island of residence, phone number, business details, and payment details (processed securely by PowerTranz — we do not store card numbers). We also collect the business data you create in the platform, such as orders, recipes, clients, and invoices, and basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Process your subscription payments and send receipts.
• Send you important account, security, and service notices.
• Provide support and respond to your enquiries.
• Keep the platform secure and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the trusted service providers we rely on to run ItsWhisky, and only as far as needed:

• PowerTranz (payment processing)
• Supabase (secure database and account hosting)
• Vercel (website hosting)
• Resend (transactional email delivery)

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep certain records (for example, payment records) to meet legal obligations.

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections, secure hosting, and access controls. Card payments are handled entirely by PowerTranz, so sensitive card details never reach our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify registered users by email. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
